Comparative LCA study of tableware for food use
Pro.Mo, the Unionplast Disposable Tableware Manufacturers Group (dissolved and merged into Pro Food) commissioned the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Trento to carry out this LCA study comparing disposable tableware made from different raw materials and “traditional” reusable tableware. The study was carried out in accordance with ISO 14044 and 14040, and was subjected to a critical review by the certification body SGS Italia spa.
